Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has recently come up with an agreement to operate the first Wyndham branded resort in Riyadh, located in the Middle east. The resort will be done in the third quarter of 2011 and will include 210 luxurious rooms in a prestigious 13-story building.
The Wyndham Riyadh-King Abdullah Resort will be home to the first Blue Harmony Spa and fitness center allowing guests to enjoy the most relaxing treatments and services from a menu of therapeutic treatments and salon services. In the fitness center you can work out to a full range of cardio and strength training equipment.
The rooms themselves are fit for a king with amenities like wireless internet service, 42-inch flat screen TV’s with Blu-ray Disc players, minibars, mood lighting and music systems that iPods can be plugged into. Each room comes with touch-less electronic door locks which increases security for guests. You’ll notice the lavish marble floors, granite counter tops, over-sized marble bathrooms with rain showers, mirror televisions and full room management systems to control things like temperature, audio and lighting.
Dining in at the new Wyndham resort will offer guests delicious choices with two open kitchens which allow guests to view the chefs as they prepare meals, an Italian restaurant offering classic selections, a roof-top grill and the Wyndham Lounge which offers snacks and drinks to guests. You can also find a coffee shop on-site which offers hot and cold coffee, along with blended drinks and espresso.
The project will be constructed to energy-saving and environmental standards specified by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System, which is also known as LEED. The timeshare resort will be using many different strategies to encourage alternate transportation as well as reduce water and energy consumption while improving the air quality within the building. These are major breakthroughs for companies such as Wyndham and definitely benefits the guests as well as employees of the resort.
