Wyndham’s Double Mile Promotion expands to Mexico

Wyndham Double Mile Promotion

Currently Wyndham Rewards is the world’s largest lodging loyalty program based on the number of participating hotels. The Wyndham timeshare chain is celebrating their recent expansion into Mexico with the well known Aeromexico, Mexico’s leading air carrier. They’ll be joining forces for the earning and redemption network with launch of a double airline mile promotion. This major promotion will be running through March 31st, 2010, and will allow Wyndham Rewards members a chance to earn double airline miles with Aeromexico during their stays at participating Wyndham resorts around the world.

Wyndham has a diverse collection of around 40 hotels throughout Mexico designed to meet the needs of all travelers, regardless of their traveling reason. In addition to the already majorly successful resorts, there have been two more locations added to the list which can be found in Mexico City and in Chihuahua.

In just over one year, the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program has expanded into several other well visited countries around the world including Germany, the UK and Switzerland. This gives the program an existence in more than 20 countries all around the world. Besides Aeromexico there are also other additions to the programs earning and redemption network such as Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental.

The Wyndham Rewards offers members the opportunity to earn points by staying at certain Wyndham resorts, shopping with select retailers and using their Wyndham Rewards MasterCard credit card. Points are then redeemable for free hotel stays with no blackout dates in the U.S. and Canada and airline tickets. Other options for redemption are for dining and shopping gift cards. This is a great opportunity to get the best bang for your buck while staying with Wyndham.
